Empty cart return page

Hi

I want that after an item is erased from the shopping cart the return address i want it to be the index of my site.
Actually hikashop is displaying a page showing products and a message: "The cart is empty".

Hi,

You need to enter the URL in the option "URL where to redirect when the cart is empty" in the "checkout" tab of the configuration.

Hi Ive got a weird situation I need the "cart empty" behaviour to send the user to a different place depending on the route through the shop they took. How can I intercept the code which sends them to the place configure in the back end of the store? Id like to replace the behaviour with a history.go(-2) instead of using a set URL.

Would this be achievable by altering one of the views? Ive checked the checkout views (in display views) but cannot see the code to be replaced.

Could you give me an idea where this code exists please.

Unfortunately, that code is near the beginning of the function "step" of the file components/com_hikashop/controllers/checkout.php
That means that you won't be able to modify it with an override and will have to directly modify the code of that core file of HikaShop if you want to change its behavior.

Hi !

I got the 2.3.3 comercial version of hikashop, and still can't find the "URL where to redirect when the cart is empty" in the "checkout" tab of the configuration. Is it changed? how can I make a redirection now?

It's not under the "Checkout", but under the "Main" tab -> "Cart".
