option ordering

Hi i have created some options on my product page. I have set the order for the characteristics and they show up in this order on the option product page. however when i set this product as an option on another product the characteristics change to alphabetical order. i have the config > display settings set to ordering by order.

Any help appreciated

Sorry i'm not sure what you mean. Images are fine. I want to put the set the order of the options drop down to order rather than alphabetical.

If you go to hikashop - products - characteristics, then click on which you're wanting to edit, you're able to change the order in which they appear in there.

Is my setup for one of my products where Warm White is first, Neutral white is second, Flame is third.

Thanks for you reply. i have already set these order settings. i have also set the main setting to order by order number. When i view the product which has the characterisics on it(the one i have set as the option) it shows right. See screen shot below.

but when i go to the main product page it changes to alphabetical

How did you set your "Characteristics values ordering" option through "Hikashop->System->Configuration->Display" ?

Please add the code after the code in the file components/com_hikashop/views/product/view.html.php and that will fix the problem.
That has already been fixed on our end and will be included in next version of HikaShop.
