Send gift card by email

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.3
-- HikaSerial version -- : 1.10.4
-- Joomla version -- : 3.5.1

My current gift card solution lets me send a gift card by mail to a friend.
This way, one can purchase a card as a gift and friend will get it on his email.
Is there any way I can manage it with hikashop + hikaserial?

Hi,

Do to so it requires HikaShop business in order to have "item" and "order" custom fields.
Thanks to that, you can create a custom field (item or order) and use the HikaSerial plugin "mail to custom field".

The customer will have the input to enter the email address of his friend (in the product page if you're using an item custom field or in the checkout if you're using an order custom field).
