Serials number on order confirmation Email

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.5.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4
-- PHP version -- : 5.5.26
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Serials on order confirmation Email

Hi

I am using Hikashop 2.5.0 and HikaSerial 1.9.1. I have also installed the plugin "AttachSerial - HikaSerial plugin" 1.0.0.
After I have created pack with pack sql data. and linked product to created pack. and checked all the configuration on back end. But I can't see Serial number on order confirmation email .
I need that the customer gets a PDF, where are his download informations, a small instruction and his serial is inside.

Can you please let me know, what cause the problem.

Hi,

We will need much more information about your configuration than just the email you received.
Did you follow our tutorial ? ( www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/2...ticket-tutorial.html )

In your email there is no serial displayed at all ; which means that your HikaSerial configuration is not right and it could be a lot of things that's why we need :
- product configuration for the serial part
- pack configuration (assigned with the product)
- the generator configuration (assigned with the pack)
- HikaSerial global configuration

After that, the plugin "attach serial" does not provide PDF ; it just generate images (JPG or PNG).

Yes , I have read all the configuration . I have checked every step but it's not working.

I have attached all the screen shots (all pages from back end)


- product configuration for the serial part
==Product_config.png
- pack configuration (assigned with the product)
==pack_config.png
- the generator configuration (assigned with the pack)
==attachserial_config.png
- HikaSerial global configuration
==hikaserial_config.png

Can you please help to get the serial data in the confirmation email?

Hi,

The "attachserial" configuration is in the section "HikaShop > Plugins", with the other HikaSerial plugins.

How did the order has been confirmed ? Can you see serials attached to the order in the HikaShop backend (while seeing the details of the order) ?

Hello

As you can see on attached screen shots. I had seen attach_serial configuration. but I think it's okay
and Their is no serial data information on order details.

Hi,

Your configuration is different than the original configuration and your statuses are not correct.
For the settings "assignable order statuses" and "useable serial statuses", they are too much values and it could explain your issue by generating a configuration conflict.

Are you sure that you want to deliver serials which can be consumed ?
Can you please provide a backend access ? (using the "contact us" form with a link to that thread).

Hi,

All of your "free to use" serials where assigned to some non existing orders (with id 25)

So I edit some of serials and remove the order association.

Because, even if a serial is "free to use", if it has an association with an order, only that specific order will be able to receive the serial.
Thanks to that, if an order is "cancel" (or any other action which can remove the serial), you can still get the same serial afterwards if you re-confirm the order.

After the serials modification, I was able to use the "refresh association" button in the order and the association has been made.

The next HikaSerial version will have new features and new improvements.
In the improvements I made a notice message in the backend when you refresh (or try to add a pack) and some association can't be made because there is no serial available.
And I created an bug report in order to display the "order id" instead of the "order number" when a serial is associated with a non existing order.

Hello

Solution is not working . When I made a payment via fronted it should be get all information including with serial data. but it's not working . I want to get serial data on confirmation email.
After When I go to order detail page, their is no association after confirm order .

Can you please get solution for that?

Serial data is coming. But we need unique download link per order also we have to send some instruction's in the order mail for product.
In order email the link where he can download his product.
Please tell me how to that?

Hi,

Once again, all your serials has been assigned...
When I wrote that I clean some serials, I mean that I clean a few in order to perform a test but I didn't clean them all.

So I clean a few more serials and I click on the button "refresh association" in the order with the issue.. And the serial came out.
Please be sure that your database is clear and clean ; because if you do not have available serial, HikaSerial can't generate them for you.
Otherwise you need to configure a serial generator and use it in your pack (which is one of the main goals of HikaSerial).

Hi,

For the download part ; I'm not sure I understood it.
HikaShop have the feature for the "product download", when you attach files to the product in the HikaShop product edition page (and the files are not "free").

If you want to perform a "unique download" using HikaSerial ; I'll need more details about what kind of unique download you want to propose.
There is the "attach serial" plugin which can provide the image as an attachment in the email but can also propose the image as a downloadable file.
In that case you should use the "email" button in the toolbar to re-send an email where the attach serial image will be included (once you have the serial attached to the order, the plugin will do his job).
Otherwise, you need to add the "virtual" file in the product configuration, using the special path "#hikaserial:attachserial:1", like it is displayed in your "attachserial" configuration.

Hi,

When editing the product, you have the zone for the files (under the zone for the images).
Click on the "+" icon to open a popup ; there you will have to chose the file mode to "Specify file location".
Once you have selected that mode, you will be able to specify the "File path".
In that field you have to put the code given by the attach serial plugin : #hikaserial:attachserial:1

Best is to also set a name (that the customer will see) and put the file as a not free download (free download = no).
Then, you can save the product file and save the product.

Afterwards, when you will send an email for the order (with the button "email" when displaying the order details in the backend) ; you will see the "download" section in the email.
