Individual Upload space for each vendor.

HikaMarket manage the download of the product images and the product files.
These elements are stored in different folder, one specific and unique folder per vendor.

But, you are talking about the product description, where the download of your files is done with "jDownloads".
"jDownloads" is not HikaMarket so unfortunately, it does not support the vendor system. It can't know that the user is a vendor and that it has to use a specific folder for the vendor.

I really don't understand what you want.
You're talking about product picture and product description.

In HikaMarket you can upload product pictures. The pictures are vendor independent.
A vendor could not access to pictures of another vendor. The main vendor (the admin) could access to all vendor pictures.

The product description use an editor. The editor could be "tinymce", a raw editor or one editor from the long list of Joomla editors.
If the editor propose an upload system, the upload system is on the plugin/component itself. We can't make magic like that.

Kunena has his own upload system, like HikaMarket have for the product.
The vendor could use the product images that he has upload in his product description if the editor allows drag & drop.
Because you can upload images, you can list them too. So you can retrieve the image path and use it in the product description.

What I want to explain you is that, the upload in HikaMarket works good and jDownloads is not HikaMarket.
The editor for the product description should propose editing features, but for download features, I don't think that it is the right place.

I think that the product pictures are the right places for it.
When you upload an image using HikaMarket, the file is placed in the right place for the vendor.
Images could not be used as a product picture but the file would stay in the vendor gallery.

He could use the gallery to list his images and use them into the product description.
Like I said, I don't thing the editor should embedded an uploader but it could insert an image using the URL. It would be easier with drag & drop or a browser.
Using flickr, dropbox or another site would not be required because, with the HikaMarket uploader you could already upload images, get the URL and use them in the editor.

The gallery could be improved (and we have points in the TODO list to improve the gallery system, in order to upload, delete and manage files directly with it).
The store limitation is in the TODO list too. In order to limit the total size or the number of files, etc.

I agree with you that the system is not completely finish, that's why we still working on it to implement new features and improve the existing ones.
