Hi,

I'm not able to understand what is what in your screenshot.
But please consider that during the upload of an image, the thumbnail is generated by the javascript with the full image while the product images are just thumbnails.
If you're using a device with a retina screen ; the "blurry" effect is just the result of retina processing.

Hi,

In your screenshot, the image you pointed seems to be the blurry one ; not the image which will become blurry..

Hi,

The image is not becoming blurry ; HikaMarket will ask for a thumbnail generation in the product edition page ; so instead of loading a big image it is loading a small (and lite) one.
You have exactly the same exact behavior in HikaShop product pages ; with thumbnails and the full image in a popup.

Thanks Jerome,

I think it was the way the css was stretching the image to meet the min height, so i have just doubled the size of the thumbs and regenerated them now i think they are looking ok, but the client is always right so we will see, thanks again for your help!

Hi,

Sure ; If you have some CSS which can alter the size of the images (and specially increase them) it would have some kind of blurry effect.
Like I wrote, the thumbnail during the upload is generated by javascript and it use the full image and some CSS to reduce the final display size.
Increasing the size of your thumbnails would be the best option ; and you can see to increase them again if you want to be sure to have a nice display on retina screens.
