Hey,

Is it possible to create groups of users that can make purchases and assign an Admin to each group that will have the ability to see reports of all the orders made by users in the group?

Thanks

Thanks for contacting us at Polished Geek about this potential customization project. I'll be following up with you via our ticket system, but I think it's always good to get feedback on this topic from the HikaShop team first. Who knows, they may have this very feature in the works?

I assume you are looking for functionality similar to Amazon Business, or at least part of it.

Here are some other requirement questions to consider:

  • Is the admin to multiple user relationship only for reporting, or would the admin need to approve the associated user accounts before they make purchases?
  • How do you envision "linking" an admin to his/her users for reporting purposes?
  • Would the purchases be "on account" and paid later by a central admin, or paid individually as they are placed?

Hi,

You can create vendors (which will have an admin).
You can use the "vendor attribution" to dynamically assign a vendor to user orders (depending a custom algorithm).
Then the vendor admin can see the report of his sales.

Hey Jerome

Thanks for your reply.

The situation is a bit more comlexed. I need the vendors to be vendors. Then I need customers to be grouped and have an admin for each group that can see reports of his group only.

So, the Vendors are Vendors - they supply the product based on an algorythm. Then I need to have groups of customers - each with an admin. The admin can see the purchases made by his customer group only.

Hope that makes sense ;)

Hi,

It's not easy to visualize and for what I can understand ; that's not possible (and not the goal) with HikaMarket.
It would require the development of a custom plugin ; maybe a component ; to do so.
