Error installing component

Hello. I just bought Hikamarket front edition. I'm getting an error saying I need Hikashop 2.3.2. We have Hikashop Business 2.3.2 installed but I think the problem is that our developer bought Hikashop under her account. Do the two extensions have to be on the same account and if so how can we fix this?

Hi,

HikaShop Business 2.3.1 is currently installed in your website.
Please update HikaShop before.

We will improve the HikaMarket install process in order to better explain the error if HikaShop is installed but the version is not up to date.

MAJOR PROBLEM

After I updated HikaShop our product listing got messed up again.

We had a major problem with our problem listings before where our entire product list would appear under our products in every category. Like this:

www.bros.is/fatnadur/product/listing/191-leatherman

We thought it was a problem with the HikaShop Megamenu and gave its devs access to our back end and they fixed it. What could be causing this now?

I have a recent backup of our whole site. Can I copy some files back without messing up our Hikashop installation?

Hi,

Yes you can restore your HikaShop files, but you will also require to modify your HikaShop database to re-set the previous version number.
After that, you will need to check your files in order to see if you haven't modified a core file of HikaShop before.
But the HikaShop support team will be more appropriate than me for that part.

Yeah but that would mean we couldn't use our Front End Edition, right? I'm wondering what files in the update made this problem reappear...

Edit: Never mind. I was able to fix the problem. I made a new backup of the com_Hikashop folder and copied the older version over it. The site is working normally now and we have our front end editing.
