frontend listing change product order

Hi!
I have a general question with hikamarket.
In the front end I can see reordering option in the category listing and it works.
But in the product listing (frontend) there is no sush option. How can I enable ordering control?

The products can be ordered in HikaMarket.

even in the demo I cannot see this option. If you go in the categories listing font end you see what I m talking about



if you go in the products listing there isnt that field to reorder products

Hi,

Ok, I see now.
I was thinking you were talking about the sorting directly in the listing ; sorting by "name" or "code", etc.

So, you are right, the ordering input in not added in HikaMarket but I will add it as soon as possible.
I didn't add it at the beginning because the product listing already contains a lot of information and in the front-end you have generally less space than in the backend.
I think I will add it in the same way than for the categories, the input text will be below the product code and you will be able to activate or not the feature using an HikaMarket ACL ( like "product / ordering" ).

Hi,

HikaMarket 1.4.0 release is ready, we are finishing the tests and the installation scripts ; We won't add more feature into it.
But it is something we could add for HikaMarket 1.4.1
It is not something we can add in a few minutes or a few lines of code. It requires to update several files.

I believe this topic is important for hikamarket. If reordering is present for categories, it should be present in products page too.

Hello,

The feature would be available in the next release and it will be a feature only for the main vendor.
Due to the fact that vendors can have products in categories where products of other vendors can be ; it's not possible for HikaMarket to authorize the vendors to sort their products and impact the ordering of other vendors.
That's why it will be only be available for the main vendor which will have a full access to every products.
