Product to approve shows nothing

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.3
-- HikaMarket version -- : 1.7.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.5.1
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.45

Found some problem while setting up the hikamarket

when a vendor submitted product on frontend

we are unable to approve the product from hikamarket - product to approve page

although the filter above shows (vendor[6] ), but we are unable to see any product from this page


any adivce?


P/S all this 6 products can be seen in hikashop product page

Hi,

Please be sure that the "use product approval" is right active and that your vendors do not have the acl "product / approve"

Hi,

I'm not able to understand your issue.
On one hand you say that you cannot approve the products but on the other hand, you wrote that you can see the 6 products in the HikaShop product page.

When a product is not approved, it's not a "product" for HikaShop so the page is not available.

If your vendors do not have the "product / approve" ACL ; when a product is created, it will have the special "waiting approval" product type.
All products with that product type are visible in the HikaMarket backend, under the menu "Products to approve".
In the backend, you do not have any restriction like in the front-end (where you need to have the "product / approve" ACL).

Can you please detail what data you have and what exactly is your issue ?
Few screenshots could help to understand what is the problematic point.

The problem is easy to replicate on every installation

the product approval page just do not work as expected

no product were showing

Hi,

I made a test in the HikaShop demo website.
Here the Default store access from the configuration :

Then in the front-end, with the vendor account, I created a product :

And I can also see it in the backend :

Hi,

Because I'm not able to reproduce the issue on my hand ; I'm not able to give you any fix.
I know that there was an issue with the ACL saving when using HikaMarket+HikaSerial because HikaSerial add some ACL in the tree but these elements weren't counted correctly by the system.
So we made an "hot patch" in HikaMarket 1.7.0 to fix that.

More than the default store access ; you also need to be sure that your vendor have "inherit" for his ACL ; otherwise it means that he will override the default configuration and could have the "product / approve" ACL in his personal config.

If your screenshot has been taken after saving the configuration and your vendor right is in "inherit" ; I can't explain your problem and I'll need accesses (admin backend and maybe FTP) in order to perform some debug.

For the product approval ; there is no difference between a "fresh installation" or any other installation. It is a feature based on 2 settings.

Thanks for the checking and confirm the problem

You can create the product or duplicate any product without problem since it will still under "unapproved status"

This server do not have any ftp service installed

Hi,

I created a specific test account for the front-end ; I added that user as "user" for the vendor "siewwen".
In the front-end, with that new account, I try to create a product.

And I checked the backend in the product listing ; I couldn't see the product I just made, so I went in the HikaMarket section "products to approve" :

I let that product in your website so you can see it in the list.

Please understand that I didn't modify your configuration and I have just made the exact same test I made in the HikaShop demo website or in my different test website.
The approval system is working, even in your website.

So I don't know what you're doing but when you are using a vendor account in the front-end without "product / approve" ACL ; the result is as expected.

I can not under stand the logic

The siewwen account are created from frontend registration process and go to "vendor" user group base on hikamarket setting

However, whichever product created from this account are having problem to show in product approval


I also lost at how you create the support-front account and how can his product show belongs to siewwen when he is actually another user?

i have try to register a new vendor from frontend, approve it

login as the vendor and add a new product, however, it end up the same as siewwen account when prodyct approval listing are missing

1 - A vendor account can have multiple users.
