Redirect to the product page of a recent cloned product

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.4
-- HikaMarket version -- : 1.7.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.4

Hi,

When i'm in the vendor product list and i clone a product, the action redirects to the same page.

There's a way to redirect to the new created product page?

Hi,

You can create an override for the HikaMarket vendor product listing and add the parameter "return_url" in the URL for the product copy.
The content for the parameter "return_url" should be url_encode and base64_encode.

But afterwards, if you want to redirect to the created product ; it would require some modification in the HikaMarket product controller but it would definitively require a modification of the HikaMarket import helper because the function copyProduct does not return the ID of the new product.
So, HikaMarket do not have any possibility to know what product has been created.

Big thank you Jerome for the clear and detailed answer.

We will try to go further with your indications tomorrow, and, please, is it possible that you could consider this requirement as a selectable configuration option for a coming version?

I bet we are not the only ones needing this kind of feature.

Like explained in my previous message ; i can't because the main part is related to the HikaShop import helper.
So it does not depend on me (HikaMarket).
