hi,
Please guide me to find the code(which php file) for this error in checkout page (when fill reg form (simplyfield with password mode3))
"please enter a valid e-mail address"


when click 'ok' alert box handel java preventDefault

Hello,

Can you precise the context and the moment you have this message ? When you are on checkout login or registration ? Or when you are in checkout address ? Or else ?...

For now, I notice that your error message isn't default HikaShop message, but maybe you have edited your language file ?

thanks philipe for reply.
I customize joomla core and hikashop for not required email field.and works fine.
now joomla user register and login without email.

I for hikashop register customize user.php(administrator/classes path) and insted of email , address_telephone.
now when register user in chekout page , register works fine.and in customer menu(hikashop backebd) and user menu joomla reg.
and login worked fine.
only problem in checkout page :
mode register in hikashop conf : simplifield with password(mode 3)
when user fill form register in chekout page , show this error when ajax refreshing for automat login.
please help me.so thanks

Hi,

That popup can only appear if you're using the old checkout of HikaShop or the registration form page of HikaShop (not on the checkout)
If you use the new chekcout ("checkout legacy" setting turned off), you shouldn't have it.
I would recommend that first.
Now regarding that javascript error on the old checkout, or the registration form page, you need to modify the components/com_hikashop/views/user/view.html.php file where there is some code calling the js functions of class.field to add that javascript.
