Hi, I have a few questions regarding check out.

1. I want to redirect customer to check out page after they click on add to cart button.
May I know where can I set this setting?

2. At check out page, I want to display total price only instead of showing tax price. Like in the picture.
How to disable it? I have tried everything but nothing can disable it.

3. How to remove the header bar (filter) at check out page?

Please give me a solution how to do that. Thank you.

Hi,

1. Disable the HikaShop cart notify plugin via the Joomla plugins manager and the HikaShop cart module via the Joomla modules manager and it will redirect to the checkout automatically.

2. The tax display because the tax is charged. Normally, the laws require you to display the tax at some point on the checkout.
So I would first recommend to check about that with your accountant/lawyer.
Now if you don't want the tax to appear at all, why did you configure taxes on your shop ? You could just disable all the taxes rules in the menu System>Taxes if you don't want any taxes.
Finally, if you want to not display the taxes there but still have them calculated, then you would have to add some CSS to hide that row as there is no option to remove it from there.
Here is a tutorial which explains how to add CSS to HikaShop:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...ize-the-display.html

3. The "header bar" appears because you have activated the "Display checkout progress bar" setting of the HikaShop configuration.

Hi Nicholas,

Thank you for the answer.

For the filter Header bar, I try to set the "Display checkout progress bar" to No checkout progress, but there is no changes. The filter header bar is still there.

Did I missed out something?

Hi,

I though that you were talking about the progress bar, where it is written "1 login, 2 end" in your previous screenshot.

For the filters text, that must probably come from a module that you configured via the Joomla modules manager.
If you don't want it at all, you can disable it.
If you don't want it on the checkout but want it elsewhere, and supposing that it is a "hikashop filter module" you can turn off the "Display on the checkout page" setting of the module.

Hi Nicolas.

Sorry for didn't mentioned clearly from previous message.

I have disable "Display on the checkout page". It set to "NO".

However, the filter bar is still there. I don't know why.

You have any clue?

Hi,

Then it's probably an issue with your template which still displays the module area even if the module content is empty.
In that case, fixing the template would help.
Otherwise, what you can also do is create a menu item of the type HikaShop checkout specifically for the checkout via the Joomla menu manager. Then, select that menu item in the "force menu on checkout" setting of the HikaShop configuration, and finally, use the "menu assignment" setting of the module to not assign it to that menu item.

Nicolas,

Wow, I don't know you can do this too! Working great!
Thank you.

I have one question regarding checkout.

I would like to have a layout like this. See attachment.

While currently I'm having this. May I know is that possible to have a horizontal login layout like above image shown?

Hi,

With heavy customization of the views of the checkout it's not impossible. But you better be an experienced developer in that case.
