Ask for information during checkout from only ONE user group

Hello,

All clients for our site are given their own specific username/password, and each sees only their own products (restricted via Joomla usergroup).

This worked fine when we were dealing mostly one on one and customizing specific products for each client.

Now, we want to offer a "general" category, which will still have it's own user group, but we will give out this one login to a large amount of clients.

So now, we need to collect Address/email info for each person at checkout time, which wasn't necessary before as each client had a profile with that info already included.

Is there a way for me to add in address and info collecting fields at checkout so only that one usergroup can see it? We don't want to bother our regular clients with a bunch of unnecessary fields when they're trying to checkout.
