Paypal: There's a problem with your shipping address

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.5.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.12
-- PHP version -- : 7
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : all
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Paypal: There's a problem with your shipping address

When trying to pay with paypal users get this message

But Then cannot update their shiipping address.

What did i do wrong?

Hello,

Would it be possible that modification that you made in your address fields (change country and states to display states and cities) would have some unwanted side effects with your Paypal plugin ?

hmmmmm...

I don't feel that renaming the labels "country" and "state" of the zones woud have any effect of the street-address and city of a shipping address

This sounds not logical to me

Hi,

PayPal has a verification system for the addresses. And so if you send a wrong country name or state name in the data passed to PayPal it will display such error message.
So if you changes the address_country custom address field to display a list of states, then PayPal will deem the address invalid.
So you need to either not send the shipping address (there are settings in the PayPal payment method to configure that), or make sure that the state/country zones are valid, or you can use another payment gateway.

Hi,

What did you set in the "customer address" setting ? It's not on your screenshot and it is the most important option for that issue.
Also, please do screenshots while logged in in English as we don't speak your language and it's really hard to read for us.
