Hi,

After searching on this forum i checked lots of things, and could find the problem.
But have no clue how to fix it.

(I have custom list to chose on every product, which is for free.)
It is about choosing which sauce you want on the sandwich, and its free.
When i set the price higher then zero, everything works fine.
But the price is zero, how could i get this to work.

Any ideas ?

Also as i understand its not possible with hikashop to set condition on previous selection/choice.
It should also fix my problem with this.

This option is part of another option.
I try to explain it.

When the customer orders the sandwich, they have to choose if they want vegetables with sauce on it.
("Smos" yes/no and no is default)
And the option with this problem is the dropdown with the sauce to choose.
("Saus op smos" and Mayonaise is default)

Now when they order (*) no vegetables the sauce displays on the order mails
(which is confusing, and should only be shown if the previous option is yes)

(*)(only with Checkout legacy on)
I hope i could explain my problem good enough.
maybe I have a wrong approach to this function, and could anyone advise me how to fix it.

Thanks to reeding my problem

Well, if your product dropdowns shouldn't affect the total price of your product, the solution can be to use custom item fields via "Hikashop->Display->Custom fields", and the "Display limited to" option, which will enable you to display / hide other item fields depending on the value you selected for your item field.

Kind regards,
Mohamed Thelji.

How do i get the dropdown by the product?
In the backend i can choose the option(s) and it works fine, but how in the frontend when the customer need to choose?

Now i see on the frontend only under specifications what i choose in the backend

Hi,

The "display limited to" setting is indeed only in the Business edition.

Regarding the dropdown appearing in the backend instead of the frontend, this means that you created a custom field of the table "product" instead of "item". So make sure that you create a custom field of the correct table.

Also, I think Mohamed missed your first question:
If you have issues when you don't have a price and not when you have, it's probably that you have the "display add to cart button for free products" setting turned off in the HikaShop configuration and thus it's refusing processing products/options without a price.
