Removing Manufacturer URL

Removing the manufacturer's URL from the Products form in the back-end does not remove it from the mySQL table, therfore still shows in the front end. Also editing the URL does not get saved to the table... only on first entry does it get saved...at least on my system.

Sorry, to quick at posting...

I needed to remove the text in the URL field from variants of the prodoct as well in order for them not to appear

Yes. Note that you don't need to fill all the variants information. You can just put the information on the main product and the different information in the variants.
