Can not see all brands

Hi,
In our shop we are using brands to display and filter products.
Now we have entered 414 different brands in our shop but when listing them under Products => Brands there are only 196 listed in the left column. See screenshot here below what I mean:

How can I make all brands visible?

The brands might be not all accessible via the tree, but they are still listed in the main part of the screen. And the search works, too. A bit more awkward, eventually, but it's not that half of your brands are "inaccessible" or so.
(I also dare saying that one doesn't need to edit them everyday, or? )

BTW, you are having some "sub-brands"? Uh oh, I read somewhere here that this can cause problems... brands are not the very same as categories after all...

Well we have a custom filtering function depending on the brands and custom fields to work properly. So in order to add products to the brands after the ones listed we need them viewable (accessible) not more not less, that's just how it works in this case
So I was just asking for a workaround until the release of HS 2.5.1 is out solving it.

After updating to HikaShop 2.6.0 the issue remains

Have I missed something in some new settings or?

It still doesn't display more. Or to be correct it display 4 more brands so a little enhancement at least.

You are in the wrong editing view.
It is the Products => Brands view and the left column the tree where all brands are listed,
Only a third of all brands are listed and that is a big problem for us. It is not enough to have them only on the right side because then we don't have full control over everything.

I have updated the login and verified it so it should work now.

Ok the reason is that my client wants to see all brands and easily expand them to see the sub-brands.
In swedish Brand = Tillverkare which more correctly translated means manufacturer.
We use it as Manufacturer with the children Series
So for example Volvo BM manufacturer has the children A-serie, B-serie etc.

But I can accept that it is for security reasons only 200 is listed so I will convince my client about this.

But there is another thing.
If I want to add a child to a Brand and name it with the same name as another child it is not allowed.
Is it somehow possible to add the same name of a child even if it is already added under another brand?
I mean a A-serie under Volvo is not the same as A-serie under the brand Abelco etc.

If there's a solution it's great otherwise we have to find some way to make unique names even if that isn't optimal.

Yes I understand this unfortuantely.
I hired a programmer to make our filtering solution on the web site as no such functionality was possible in HikaShop.
So the developer made the functionality by using Brands and Sub brands and Custom fields and then made a custom module to associate the custom fields with the Brands.
Then to add the products in the filtering result listing you choose brand/sub brand and field in the new product created.
But this has also created a lot of work for us so now we're working with another developer to solve all mess the first one did.
Anyway this issue with the brands listing is solved and works now.
