Package product - mix & match from list

Hi,

Need some advice on how to create Package type of product.

I want to create 3 simple package

package A - choose 3 item from the list & price is $5
package B - choose 5 item from the list & price is $8
package C - Choose 3 item from the list + 2 fix item & price is $8

1) i thought of using Characteristics to do it. Can it be done ?
2) if using Characteristics to do it, there is no inventory control to those list item which the 3 package are sharing the list of item and stock. so is there a way to create product and add them to Characteristics ?

Hello,

Why don't you create 3 differents HikaShop Products (for the same product) and use in your product configuration page and Specifications part, Options & Bundled settings, see this screenshot :

If you follow me that mean that :
- For the package A => add 3 options
- For the package B => add 5 options
- For the package C => add 3 options AND add 2 bundled product

Hope this will fit your needs.
