Problem with registration

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3.3
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5.25

Under "Login and Registration" I have selected "Simplified registration with password" and set "Ask address on registration" to yes. When I register as a new customer and write all info (including address and phone) and press OK, I get a blank page. I've read that this maybe caused by the template, and I'm trying to figure this out with the developer of the template. BUT: the user is saved and logged in, so the registration seems to work except one thing: all the address-information is lost, so when checking out after putting something in the shopping basket, I'm once again asked to register my address. Any idea how to solve this issue?

Hi,

Please try again after activating the "error reporting" and "debug mode" options of the joomla configuration.
That should display an error message which will help us understand the problem you have.

Hi,

That would indicate that you have a really old version of AcyMailing installed on your website. If that's the case, maybe it's a good time to update it :)
Otherwise, just unpublish the hikashop acymailing plugin via the Joomla plugins manager and that will avoid the problem.

An old (and not in use) version of AcyMailing seemed to be the problem. After deactivation it seems to work perfect once again! Thanks for excellent and quick support :)

Hi, I have the same problem, but now the disable AcyMailing, but I still have the same error, no data are recorded customer address, attached the image of the message it gives me. Please help me :(

Hi,

It looks like there is a problem with the custom address fields in your database.
Plese turn on the "debug mode" option of the joomla configuration and try again to register and it should display an error message explaining the problem if that's indeed coming from that.
Also, you can try to disable the custom fields that you created/modified via the menu Display->Custom fields. That should hopefully solve the problem. Then, you can try to recreate them.

Hi .. Thanks, yes, it was a custom field that blocked the registration, unpublish and now i can register the address, but as it is a data that really I require (it is a number of citizen identification), I went back to create, but when I fill in the form recorded everything except this, do not appear in the data, and I need it to appear there and on invoices.

Hi,

What do you mean by "not appear in the data" ?

If you want to change the way that the addresses are displayed, you have to override the view "address_template" (for your front-end template and your back-end template).

Hi,

HikaShop essential 2.3.4
Joomla 3.3.6

I got a problem with account registration; a error box is shown "Error: Access Usergroup Invalid" and even though the registration is successful no address is recorded in the profile and is again asked during checkout. I switched on debug mode and see this message "Notice: Undefined index: user in /home/prodotti/public_html/plugins/system/hikashopusergroup/hikashopusergroup.php on line 40"
How can I fix this problem?

thank you! it did work. Only there was still a small problem with some links directing to the Joomla deafult registration form, leading to the same problem of missing address on the stored profile.
