Hi folks

Why is it THAT difficult to have a simple filtering with color images instead of text? So many commerce offer this. Why not Hikashop? :(

I have tried the HTML img insert in the characteristics - but when i'm in the product to add this characteristics - i only see the html - and not the color images.

I DO see the images in the filter - with a radio button on each color. That is a stylish nightmare to look at.

!!PLEASE!! Hikashop - i'm willing to pay you to solve this. If you are a coder - i'm willing to pay you to solve it for me.

With kind regards
Thomas

Hi,

We are currently writing a documentation for that, a very complete and detailed documentation to display image as variant selector.
Please wait until we put this documentation online.

Hi,

I have the same problem and request.
Is the document explaining this available now ?
If yes, where can it be found ?

This would help a lot to give a more professional look.

Thank you

Hello Xavier,
is there any suggested size for the color-icons?

Hi,

It depends on how your website is configured, what you want to sell, your layouts are customized and the CSS of your template, so hard to say. It can sometimes be nice to have small 16*16 px images for uniformed colors, but it can also be better to have bigger images 40*60px if you have pattern colors (like marble), etc, but that can vary based on the layout of the website.
