The search only can be reduced by deactivating the corresponding search plugins of Joomla.
But the search system of Joomla doesn't have settings to do the other things you're talking about.
It would require complex customization of the search system to allow for that.
A simpler system is to use the filter system of HikaShop instead:

It can be used as a search module, like you can see on our demo website, and it will display the results as a normal products listing.
