-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.orologigalileo.com
-- HikaShop version -- : 3.0.0 essential
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5
-- PHP version -- : 5.6.23
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : firefox

Hello,
I found a problem when I run the import of the products.
Some product does not snap the photo.
I can play one example:

www.orologigalileo.com

Item: 9192318

in the folder: / httpdocs / images / com_hikashop / upload
the product photo exists.
When I go into product management, I find this article without pictures.
About 205 products are absent more than 20 photos.

I can not understand why this happens.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Hi,

It means that the file name is probably not the same.
For example, if you use JPG as the extension of the file on the upload folder but jpg as the extension in the CSV file.

We would need to have a look at the CSV to say something more precise, but you can easily check if the image is available by opening the URL of the image in your browser:

http://www.orologigalileo.com/images/com_hikashop/upload/XXX.YYY
where XXX.YYY is the file's name.

Hello,
I opened the following URL:
www.orologigalileo.com/images/com_hikashop/upload/9192318.jpg
and the photo of the product in question appears.
I will attach the CSV used to transfer products.

I have noticed a new problem. There are photos that appear truncated.

Hi,

I run the test on my end and it worked:
monosnap.com/file/QjwaYHnqqXa1Fkr3ujlpYpqgM4R4vf
Make sure that the upload folder you have in the Files section of the HikaShop configuration is /images/com_hikashop/upload/ and not another one.

Regarding the truncated images, that's because your upload of the image failed in the middle: www.orologigalileo.com/images/com_hikashop/upload/723841961.jpg
So when HikaShop generates the thumbnail, it generates it with only the data it has.
You'll have to reupload the image and delete the thumbnails folders of the upload folder so that HikaShop can regenerate the thumbnails.

Hello,
I did not understand what indicates the link:
monosnap.com/file/QjwaYHnqqXa1Fkr3ujlpYpqgM4R4vf
I checked as you indicated and it is all right.
I have deleted all the contents of the folder / httpdocs / images / com_hikashop / upload and reloaded images.
There are still items without photos and that's not very good.

The problem of truncated images remains. I will make a new attempt to see if, by slowing the transmission via FTP the problem is resolved.

You still have to give me, please, a solution to the problems indicated, otherwise I will have serious problems with the customer.

Sorry if I make the comparison with virtuemart but these problems did not occur.

I look forward to your help.
Thank you.

Hi,

1. That link is a screenshot of the product you gave in your example. I've imported your CSV and uploaded your image in my upload folder and that's the result. As you can see on that screenshot, the image is displaying fine, which is why I'm thinking that there is a problem with the path where you're uploading it.
Could you provide a backend access and a link to this thread via our contact form so that we can have a look at that product 9192318 with the image missing ?

2. Regarding the truncated images, that has nothing to do with HikaShop. It's your upload of the files which stops in the middle for some of the files. You would have the same problem with VM. If you give a truncated image to VM, you can only display a truncated image.

Hi,

I'm sorry but I don't understand your question.
If you're asking whether you can upload only the images with the truncated problem, then yes, of course. Only reupload the images with the problem, the others, you can leave them there.

Hello.
my question is this and you answered. I have tried replacing the photo damaged and now you see well.
I still can not understand how this could happen.
I will do other tests and then I'll let you know.
