Performance issue in hikashop website

We recently developed a website ( www.egrammandi.com ) using hikashop component on joomla. When 'Add to Cart' is click , it refreshes the complete page.

On click on 'Add to Cart' , it goes to egrammandi.com/index.php/product/updatecart and then refreshes the page.

Kindly provide the solution of this issue.

That's a normal comportment, when adding to cart the controller product is called and the task updatecart in that controller is executed.

If you don't want that the whole page reload, you have to enable the "Use AJAX when possible for add to cart buttons" option in Configuration > Main > Advanced.

I have enabled the option 'Use AJAX when possible for add to cart buttons' but still it refreshes page every time when product is added to the cart.

Is there anything wrong in category list module?

Or is it because of custom item field for weight?

As I can see on your website, you can change values in the products listing page, this is not available in HikaShop by default.
So you have made an override, and I think that it's this override which cause the reload of the whole page.

Thanks to edit it or ask to the developer which have implemented this option to improve that in order to use ajax.

In my another website ( www.mairaoutfits.com/ ), page is not reloading.

I am using same custom item field for weight in both the websites.

I was thinking that it was a characteristic and there was view edition on it in order to have it in the product listing.
In all cases, the page is reloading too on the other website. You can see it thanks to the loading icon in your browser, or by using the browser console.

Thanks to try without this custom field, but I think that it's related.
