Hi,

Please read that documentation page :
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/5...-install.html#errors

About the "update" page ; I think that because you're using a very old version of HikaShop (6 years ago), the link might be a dead one.

Hi,

The links work fine but you need to click on them in the forum. The links in the email notification you got are truncated and won't work. That's a bug of Kunena. We're currently working on updating it which will fix that bug.

Hi,

We're not talking about updating Joomla here but HikaShop. So it's the install package of HikaShop that you want to use.
The error 'There was an error uploading this file to the server' can be circumvented by doing an install via FTP of the HikaShop install package:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/5...-to-install.html#ftp

If you have difficulties to install HikaShop, you may want to try to install it via FTP.
This way, Joomla won't have to upload the HikaShop package on your website so the installation will be much faster.
Extract your HikaShop package in a folder called "hikashop" on your own computer.
Open your FTP software (FileZilla for example), connect to your website and upload the folder "hikashop" in the temporary folder of your website : /tmp/
Go to your Joomla Installer manager on your website backend and specify the path of your folder in the input "Install from Directory" : "\home\...\tmp\hikashop".
Click on the button "Install"... the install process should be much faster and will enable you to successfully install HikaShop.

Hi,

As explained in the instructions I gave you, you need to first extract all the files and folders of that zip on your local computer and upload them all via FTP in the tmp folder.
Here you uploaded the zip directly, that's why it doesn't work.

Hi,

Make sure that you have configured the "backend CSS file" setting of the Hikashop configuration to "default" and clear your browser's cache and it should display properly.

Hi,

Then try changing the "menu position" setting to "above the content" in the HikaShop configuration.
