Hi, Google will require AMP and canonical pages to match as of February 1, 2018

Does Hikashop have a plugin to solve this Google requisition?

Starting Feb 1, 2018, the policy requires that the AMP page content be comparable to the (original) canonical page content.


So, AMP is still not required and it won't be.

Hi,

This announcement just says that if you use AMP on your website, you need to make sure that the canonical URLs are properly configured after that date for them.

If you need to have AMP on your website, there are a few extensions for that:
extensions.joomla.org/extension/accelerated-mobile-pages/
extensions.joomla.org/extension/wbamp-community-edition/

So if you configure AMP pages to match HikaShop pages, you need to make sure that the canonical URLs are properly configured.
