move HikaShop from website to another one

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.4
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.5

Hello
My question is if it is possible move from a website to an other one everything reguarding hikashop, product, order,configuration.
The sorce website is with joomla 3.6.6 and HikaShop Essential 2.6.4, the destintation is joomla 3.8.6 and HikaShop Business 3.4.0.

I found this old topic on this forum:

So I exported these tables and imported:
hikashop_product,
hikashop_product_related,
hikashop_product_category,
hikashop_category,
hikashop_price,
hikashop_file,
hikashop_variant,
hikashop_characteristic,
hikashop_field.

But I didn't have any effect :dry:

Hi,

Yes. You need to export/import all the tables with hikashop_* in your phpmyadmin (you might have to change the prefix of the tables if you don't use the same ones on both websites) after deleting them from your new website database.
Then, you want to click on the "check database" button of the Hikashop configuration so that it can add all the missing columns and tables from HikaShop 2.6.4 to HikaShop 3.4.0.
You also want to copy the files in media/com_hikashop/upload/ and images/com_hikashop/upload/ from your old websit to your new website via FTP.
You shoudl then be all good.

I did what you sayd but when I check the database the result list was:

Hello

why in the new web site,after have done all what you suggested, I still have in documentation tab this "You have the latest stable version of HikaShop Essential: 3.4.0".
I mean the number version is correct but why essential and not business??

And I just saw that something in configuration of Hika is disabled couse "it is only for HikaShop Business"
Maybe I should update hikashop with business packet as new installation??

Hello,

As Nicolas explained ; you should use the exact same package in the two websites.
Same packages means the same version number but also the same edition of HikaShop.
Because, if you migrate an HikaShop Essential on an HikaShop Business ; the Business feature will be deactivated when copying the database.
