-- url of the page with the problem -- : valentina-db.com/en/store
-- HikaShop version -- : 3.4
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.8
-- PHP version -- : 5.6.33

Prior to the update, our buttons were appearing normally for both product purchase and 'choose options'.

How do I restore the buttons?

Hello,

You have several point to check in your HikaShop Options :
- In your Listing Item Menu, check this specific point :

- Or maybe try to process some tests with the default template (like protostar)
=> See if that solve your issue.

Awaiting news from you.
Regards

I've got the same problem. If I turn on 'Add to cart legacy' in the advanced settings then the options return but I would prefer not to use this old style if there is another way to get the "Choose Options' button to return when an item has variants.

Hi,

The "choose options" button is still displayed when the conditions are met, even with the new add to cart system.
So if you don't get them, it means that there is a condition which isn't met.
We would need more information (screenshots of the settings) on how you configured your products and menu item and a link to the page to be able to understand better your situation and help you.

Thank you for your reply. A page that features products with variants is... www.airdiffusion.com.au/air-conditioning...er-covers/coolbreeze

Attached are screenshots of the settings mentioned.

Hi,

Are you sure that the option "add to cart legacy" has been turned off ?
On your listing, for that product, I get an add to cart button.
I would recommend to try renaming the folder templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/product/ when you turn off the "add to cart legacy" in order to deactivate the view overrides that you have for the products listing.
That way, you can check whether the issue you have with the new add to cart system comes from the customized views you have or if you also have the problem with the new views.
If you don't have the problem with that folder renamed, then you can put back the original name of the folder, and do the same for each file in it in order to identify the file causing the issue and then you can redo your customization on the new version of that view file via the menu Display>Views.

From what I can tell, it looks like after installing it wiped out a lot of previous settings. I noticed that images were bursting out of the boxes.

I still haven't resolved the missing buttons though.

Hi,

Turn off the "add to cart legacy" setting of the HikaShop configuration and you should get the buttons properly displayed.
If that doesn't help keep it off. Then, you also have view overrides in your template and you would have to rename some of the files in templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/product/ via FTP (you need to rename them one by one and check each time if it helps or not).
