In the latest update in the changes it states "You can now use data tags in the email subjects to get information from the order/user." I can not find how to do this. Where can I find the data tags to be used? Do I need to put them in the language file? If so, what data tag can I use for the order amount? In the language file %s is constantly used. How does Hikashop know what to replace this with?

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

In the translation text of the subject of the email, you can use such tag: {order_full_price} and it will be replaced automatically.

ORDER_ADMIN_NOTIFICATION_SUBJECT="%s bestelling ontvangen {order_full_price}"

That is what my language file now says, but that doesn't do anything. It still only gives the first part (order number and text "bestelling ontvangen").

The translation is only in this language file. So what am I doing wrong?

Hi,

Then maybe you have an old build of the latest version. Download again the install package and install it on your website. It will have a patch for the tags to work properly in email subjects.

Did anyone ever get these "data tags" to work? I have tried many from the table and all return blank.
