Hi,

I don't know of a plugin available for that payment gateway yet.
It's on our todo list, like 60 other payment plugins requested, so it's not planned for the short term.
If you need it in the short term, you'll have to either develop it, or have it developed by a developer.

Hello,

In Switzerland SIX is a provider impossible to circumvent. I sought a developer for it plug-in, but the budget is not acceptable for my customer.
Did you change your priorities for it plug-in?

Generally the customers have already a credit card provider for their shop. They do not want to change some for their E-Shop!

Can you consider this, to help us to promote Hikashop near our customers in Switzerland?

Thanks for your answer. But I am sorry this is not a solution. The cost of the development of one plug-in is not bearable by only one customer. In my country SIX is leader and established well. When I propose Hikashop to my customer, I cannot ask him to change card provider especially if it chose the leader.

I am very attached to Hikashop by his integration with other components. The pressure of my customer is likely to oblige me to choose your competitor which has it plug-in.
Switzerland is an important country commercially. SIX is well established in Europe and especially in Germany.

Plug-in for SIX seems to me strategic and only one customer cannot support 2-4K dollars of development to use Hikashop. Please do somthing for this.

Please understand that we provide HikaShop for all the world. There are hundreds of payment gateways out there.
We try to develop the ones that are the most requested.
I doubt that SIX is more used than PayPal as a payment gateway in Switzerland. We also developed a PostFinance payment plugin especially for Switzerland. And there are at least half a dozen of other payment gateways you can use in Switzerland with HikaShop.
We can't humanly develop a plugin for all the payment gateways out there.
On top of that, we provide all of them for free so we don't make money on the development of the plugins and HikaShop has more free payment plugins than any other ecommerce solution that I know of.
I understand that you'd like this one as your customer needs it, and that's why we provide a developer documentation so that any PHP developer can put together a payment plugin relatively easily:

I am convinced of Hikashop since years.
And I understood very well that the world comprises much country and much credit card provider.

It is a forum to support your customer and to help to improve Hikashop. My customer is not the problem which do not understand Hikashop. The problem is how can it use Hikashop with its CC provider?
The solution can be external. The solution can be paying.
You made your documentation very well to make plug-ins. I like Hikashop.com.

I understand that you cannot all develop yourself. But if you want to keep your customers you cannot send them to external PHP development. You known as that it is relatively easy. But the offers which I receive are between 2000.- and 4000.-$. And what will it occur when Joomla or Hikashop is updated? With an offer similar one puts the question to change solution of shop. I do not know what we go to do.

I found shops of plug-ins similar for competition on the Internet. Their plug-in approximately cost 200-$ per year. But they do not propose plug-in for Hikashop. You should develop alliances in this direction. Understand well that I write all this to you, to support yourselves. Long life with Hikashop.

Yes Jerome I did it. It is with precision in their answer this them to communicate a budget of roughly 3500-5500$

The second partner of your liste answer :
..."Therefore our payment plugin projects usually require an investment in the range of $3500 - $5500 USD."

They probably work very well and much of hour. You produced with your partner the beginning of work. But in return their answer to the customer is too much expensive. And if I must request an offer from all the partners, it is an extraordinary waste of time.

Do you find offers to them normal?

It's a shame you don't want to ask other partners or other PHP developers. I'm sure you could find cheaper prices.
As I said, any PHP developer should be able to work on that so I'm sure there are developers out there who could work for much less (due to the standard of living being different in their part of the world).

Hello,

The HikaShop team do not provide quote in the forum.
In general, the team do not do a lot of custom development ; but it can happen.
You can use the "contact us" form to send a private query to the team ; but the best would be to contact some of the HikaShop partners specialized in plugin development.
I really don't know what partners you have contacted but I'm more than surprise by the quote you got and for the most I know for some of the first listed partners, they haven't been contacted for the development of that plugin.
