Here is the plugin that is installed for PAYPAL HOSTED that you don't know about.

Can you shed any light on the intermitten

t issue with the payment confirmation not coming back.

Then, you probably have another issue leading to the same error.
Please activate the debug setting of your payment method, do a test payment again, get the payment log from the HikaShop configuration and post it in a new thread explain with more details the situation and we should be able to help.

We would also like to know what, if any, Hikshop solution has been proferred on this issue, as we are having intermittent "confimed" messages, mixed with "created" for orders that have, in fact, be processed by PayPal as being paid.
We have tried every solution thus far that was gleaned from support messages and extension plugin fixes.
No luck on any solution, so we are keen to monitor this thread.
