This is a presales question but I see it was asked over 4 years ago in this forum, but was not asked properly.
Interac now allows payment from one bank to another in Canada (and maybe elsewhere) and no password is required for the transfer. An email interac payment simply goes straight from one bank account to another. The customer does not have to give the merchant any information. The customer has to log into their own bank account online, enter the right data, and then simply send the money, and the merchant has to do nothing. The merchant simply receives a notification of the transfer in his email.
Once the merchant sees that payment go through then he can ship the product.

Can one of your offline payment methods be used for this? It would be really easy to implement, just a matter of changing the text. No programming required at your end. Could somebody make this payment plugin for us? Or could you give us a file to edit appropriately that might work?

Hi,

You can use the "bank transfer" payment method. You can use the "information" area of the payment method to enter the data that the customer can use to make the transfer.
However, if the data that the customer can use needs to be dynamic (like for example a code that needs to be generated with a special algorithm) then that would require indeed the development of a payment plugin. In that case, we have partners you can contact about such development:

I would recommend in that case to first get the integration documentation (you might want to contact interac or your bank for that) so that when you contact them, they can assess the difficulty of the integration to give you a quote on the job.

If you need to change some of the text displayed by HikaShop as it doesn't quite fit with your needs, you can use translation overrides so that's not a problem:
