I have a couple of funky things happening.

I am unable to get the $ doller sign to appear before the price.

I am mocking up a couple of sites, and i am able to get the $ sign to show in the other sites using the same settings.

Also, when i add a product to the cart and i use the pop up display, i lose the colour of my proceed to checkout button. If i refresh the page, the colour re-appears.

You can see at

Thx

Hi,

You should go in the menu System->Currencies and edit your currency. Please make sure that it's properly setup, like the default settings.

For the cart button, that's because your template displays the style of buttons with javascript and not pure CSS. You have several options:
deactivate the ajax refresh so that it does a full refresh of the page. You can edit the view and change the code for that.
change the template (or it's options maybe) so that it uses only CSS.
set the option "button style" to CSS in the Display tab of the configuration so that hikashop uses it's own style of buttons and not the one of your template

Hi,

I have also a similar issue. On clicking 'add to cart' the cart module displays the wrong css styling. After a refresh the button is ok.

Please advise...... and bare in mind that I am not a programmer.

Cheers

Alan

PS the 'fall-back' css hikashop styling is awful so that isn't an option :)

Hi,

That's because you turned on the option "Use AJAX when possible for add to cart buttons" of the configuration. Turn it off and it will work fine.
