Cannot find Save button to add Category

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.3 Starter
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3
-- PHP version -- : 5.4
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Safari and Firefox Mac
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : No error message

I have been able to add categories but suddenly the ability to add more categories is broken. Is there a limit to the number of categories on the Starter package?

See attached. Even when I scroll down there is no 'Save' button. I have cleared the Joomla cache, etc, and tried on two browsers.

Hi,

There is no 'save' button, probably never was one. After all, this is the popup where you choose the parent category of the new category you are attempting to create, nothing else.

If you want this to be 'Unflavored', then first click on 'Bulk Coffee' in the left pane - then you can click 'Unflavored' on the right side.
If instead you want it to be 'Bulk Coffee', so that 'Unflavored' and the new category are on the same level, first click 'Coffee' in the left pane, so you get to see and can click 'Bulk Coffee' on the right side.

The popup will close then, and you can continue creating the new category and finally save it.

Hi,

There is no limitation. You have maybe a category malformed which has broken the display.
Do you have the button "Rebuild", if yes, thanks to use is in order to rebuild the category tree.

Thanks, I clicked the "Rebuild" button on top.

Then I clicked the category on the left and easily added the new category (to the category selected on the left).

All is good now.
