How can we limit the display of a badge to only one language in a multilingual website?
We want other bagdes to be displayed in one language and other (translated) badges to the other one language.

Hello,

Unfortunately, we don't have this kind of option that able your badges to be selected regarding the customer language...
I see several solutions, but before can you describe the aim of this kind feature, with a concrete example I mean ?

We will try to suggest you the better solution to fit your needs.

Awaiting news from you.

Regards

The website is translated in 2 language. We need badges to be translated in 2 languages too. For example a badge "out of stock" has to be translated in the second language too, so we need 2 badges for each one product. The appearance of each badge depends on the language.
How could we solve this issue?

Hello,

Then, you have an other way to process.
You have to create two badges (for each language), Two product version AND two categories.
And, you will create Item menu for each language, AND restrict language access like on the screenshot.

And finally, target for each item menu ONE of these last categories.

Note : Maybe you have already understand that will leads to more managing... Especially, if you have stock managing.

Hope this will fit your needs.

Regards

Hi
has there been any change for this issue?

I have this problem too - and I'm sure anyone with a multilingual site using Falang has this issue to.

Best regards
David

Hi,

If you want to translate badges, you can use Falang's translation interface to translate them.
You should be able to edit each badge in the translations area for each language and change the image path and the badge name corresponding to the language.

Hi Nicolas
There is nowhere that I can find, where a translation related to badges is possible.
Neither in the Badges creation area, nor in the product area.

Can you point me in the right direction to find where I can change the path, please?

regards
David

Hi,

As I said, it's in the Falang translations interface... Not in HikaShop:
