-- url of the page with the problem -- : www.capicua.be
-- HikaShop version -- : 3.2.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.3
-- PHP version -- : 7.0.1
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Safari

Hi,

Now the popup is the standard Shadowbox Media Viewer, with the controls below the picture on the right. Is it possible to change it so you can click on the right half to proceed to next image and on the left half to go to previous picture? It's not mobile friendly like it is now. Or where do I find the PHP, CSS files to change it? :)

Hi,

Shadowbox doesn't use any PHP.
All is done with a javascript and a CSS file.
If you use the "shadowbox (external)" in the HikaShop configuration, then the CSS and javascript files come from our CDN server.
If you use the "shadowbox (embedded)", the it's up to you (your template) to load these files on the pages.
So copy the files cdn.hikashop.com/shadowbox/shadowbox.css and cdn.hikashop.com/shadowbox/shadowbox.js to your template and add them in the index.php of your template and then customize them any way you want.

Ok, thanks, but I don't understand a thing from that .js file :/ Is it not possible to just have a regular image popup, where you can click on the left side of the picture to go to previous and when you click on right side, it goes to the next image? Just plain and simple like here: www.bjlnostalgie.be/index.php/component/...nd-in-de-sneeuw-1992
Had a lot of complaints already that visitors don't like fiddling with the little controls underneath the image popup...

Hi,

It is possible. You can either modify the CSS file of shadowbox like I explained above or you can implement a new popup gallery system different from shadowbox.
Obsidev actually developed plugins for several of them here:
