I have installed as per instructions but it is not showing the field?

Hello,

Which HikaShop version number are your using ?
Are you looking in the "Custom fields" section of the HikaShop product edition page ? (it is the only place where plugins can add their fields)

Hi,

You can use a mass action via the menu System>Mass action for that.
In your mass action, you can use an action "update the values" on the column "product_preorder" with the value you want as a string or an integer.

I did this and it mucks up the stock levels on all the products so now we have to restore from back up.

Similarily, you can use a mass action on the product_quantity column to counter balance the change.

That would work only if all the stock levels were the same. Ours are different for each product.

Hi,

If you added a preorder amount of 10 for example, if you add a stock of 10, it will balance the change.
In the mass action "update the values" action, you will want to use the "operation" mode and use such code in that case:
product.product_quantity+10
so that it will add instead of replace the stock.
