The Joomla standard search doesn't support that.
So you have two options:
- you write a view override for the search results of the Joomla search to support images.

- you use the HikaShop filter system:

The HikaShop filter module can be configured to display a text input filter which can work like the Joomla search but for HikaShop products only. The advantage is that the results of the filtering will be displayed as a normal HikaShop products listing. So you will be able to easily configure its look, with add to cart buttons, etc which you wouldn't be able to do with the Joomla search.

I'm not sure about that first method. I've never done it myself. That's something I found when searching for a solution to that with the Joomla search.
For the second solution however, I'm sure it's going to work since we've developed it ourselves.

It is included by default in HikaShop Business. Once you install it on your website, you can create a text filter via the menu Display>Filters of HikaShop, and the configure the "HikaShop filter module" via the Joomla modules manager.
