I am looking for some help in understanding how to use the Shipping Price Per Product configuration interface. My functionality need is that certain product have a $6.00 handling/packaging fee.
1. 'HikaShop Shipping manual - Prices per product' Plugin is enabled.
2. Price Per Product option in both of my Shipping Methods is marked 'Yes'. I am currently using both USP and Manual Shipping methods.
3. The product(s) for which I'd like to set the handling/packaging fee have, in some cases, several dozen varients.
4. In the Shipping Prices section for each varient I click the + sign for each of the shipping methods listed. I Enter a minimun quantity of '1'. I Enter a fee of $6.00. I Save the Varient.
5. No values appear to save.

I have been unable to locate documentation describing how to fill out the the Shipping Prices section, so if it exists that might answer my question as to what I am doing wrong. Can you provide guidance in this setting this configuration? Thanks!

Hi,

That sounds correct.
Could you please do a screenshot of the page just before pressing on save so that we can see what you enter exactly ?

Hello,
I just tested it and it worked fine, so can you :
- Active the Joomla debug mode ("Administration->Global configuration->System->Debug System/Language")
- Set the "error reporting" option of the Joomla configuration to "maximum"
- Test it again so that we can see if it display an error message.

Thanks! I've attached a pdf of the error page.

Do have documentation as to how the functionality is designed to work and the configuration of the feature?

Hi,
Regarding the error 500, you'll probably find your solution by reading that documentation .

Thanks for the link to the documentation. I looked a little closer at the query and figured out that the hikashop_shipping_price table did not include the shipping_fee_value column. I added that column and the price per product appears to be saving now.

Hi,

I am not sure how but i put the price per shipping in on a product at £7. min qty of 1. But the shipping is coming out on the front end as £70??

I have attached screen shots, any idea why it seems to be adding an extra 0 on the end? I am trying to make it so that it adds £7 for each qty of that product... So 1=£7 2=£14 3=£21 etc...

I only want it to apply the complete parts category so i have also created a warehouse and then put those products within that warehouse category so i can apply a shipping restriction.

What i essentially need is:

The shipping cost will be £7.00 per delivery for any parts but the assembled parts (which i placed in the warehouse 'fully assembled') will be £7.00 each for delivery.

Thanks

Alex

Hi,

Regarding your configuration you should have a £35 shipping.
7 (shipping base price) + 7 (fee) + 3*7 (quantity*price) = 5*7 = 35

So I'm not sure that you have provided all information regarding your product & shipping configuration.

Hi Jerome,

Thanks for the pointer, i just had to remove the price on shipping in the main shipping plugin and remove the fee. Just leaving the one £7 in place on the price per product and now it works. I think i had too much going on!

Kind regards

Alex

If I am in the wrong place, please point me at the right place.

In my shop, some of my products cannot be shipped. They are available only for local pickup. When I configure the manual shipping plugin, it seems to apply itself to all products, and override anything else - USPS in my case. Basically, I want to send everything by USPS, unless some product can't be shipped. I played with the shipping restrictions, but - like others here - I don't understand what is happening with this option.

Any help will really be appreciated.
