Not all tax transactions being recorded by taxcloud

Thank you for the code patch. Unfortunately, after applying the patch we are still experiencing the same issue.

Here are the details:

Product total: $8.10
Tax: $0.45
Payment method: cashondelivery
lookup API call is working.
Order status: order received

Once manually changing the order status to 'payment confirmed' or 'shipped' we are not seeing the order as 'captured' in taxcloud.

If it helps, we saw 5 API errors on 6/13

4 CustomerID missing and 1 failure to return an order that was not previously captured -- Error: "The order could not be found or has not been captured yet (OrderID : 1764)"

We see your Lookups for the transaction detailed and agree that it, well they (there were multiple that matched the fact pattern), were not captured.

The raw lookups may not be displayed in the TaxCloud UI as I write this message because we are about to release a major upgrade to our Transactions area (in the next day or two), and some of the components for that upgrade have already deployed, while the final UI bits are briefly delayed in QA.

Note: This transactions display upgrade has no impact on our APIs, just display.

This upgrade is driven by our merchants with monthly transaction volumes in the hundreds-of-thousands to millions range, but will certainly benefit all of our merchants. B)

So if you cannot see transactions that were Looked-up, but not captured, rest assured if TaxCloud responded with tax amount(s) due, we have the record(s), but they may not be visible in the UI yet.

Hoping for an update/resoultion to this. The transactions that automatically update to 'payment confirmed' via a massaction seem to be capturing. However, when manually updating from 'order received' to 'payment confimred' via the administrator they do not.

The client is getting anxious. Really need a solution for this asap.

TaxCloud: Have any errors been generated by the latest order (#1778 customer 4)?

6/19/2017 Had 3 API errors:

  1. 18:28 - CustomerID is missing
  2. 20:49 - CustomerID is missing
  3. 20:53 - The order could not be found or has not been captured yet (OrderID : 1774)

6/22/2017 Had 1 API error
  1. 01:38 - CustomerID is missing

Nicolas/Jerome: Hoping you can jump in here and provide some insight or a fix. You should have all access needed to take a closer look (taxcloud, ftp & administrator - previously provided via direct message).

We really need the full capabilities of the taxcloud integration with Hikashop. Right now the only reliable function the plugin is providing is calculating the tax via lookup. Without a reliable capture when the payment is confirmed reporting and filing for our tax liabilities are grossly inaccurate. An issue that grows in its complexity to fix each day.
