Variants in Product listing

Hi, I would like to add the variants dropdown to the product listing page - currently users have to click on 'choose options', are taken to the product page, then they see the dropdown. I haven't been able to locate the code that controls this, please advise!

There is no options for that. If you want to do it, you will have a lot of work:
1. You need to take some code from the file components/com_hikashop/views/product/view.html.php to load the data of the variants/characteristics in the listing and not only in the show.
2. You need to take some code from the file components/com_hikashop/views/product/tmpl/show.php to display the characteristics dropdown
3. You need to add all that in one of the listing_ files of the view product (it depends how you want to structure your code).

Hi, do we need to be an Essential/Business buyer before you would consider providing more detailed instructions or provide revised related php files to allow the Variants to appear in the Product Listing?

No. I didn't give any code because such modifications are not to be taken lightly and will require more than one day of development for a developer. It's not just a few lines that you can add here and there.
