States dropdown box are not shown

There is no option for that. Which means that you would have to create a state "Select state" and add that new state as sub zone of all your countries. Since the fields are ordered by name, I'm not sure how you would make it first in the dropdown of states. Maybe by adding a space at the beginning or a special character or something like that.

Hi, and sorry to open again this topic but I have the same problem with the states dropdown box. See the attached picture if you want. I tried to deactivate the facebook module and delete the fb script from my <body> because firebug shows me an error in this one, but no change. My website is www.christiantete-eshop.gr

Hi,

You do not have the same problem of this thread.
I guess you have unpublish some countries but you address country custom field still have an unpublish country as default value.

You have to go into the HikaShop backend : Display > Custom field.
Edit the custom field: address / address_country
Right select your default country (Greece).
Save the custom field.

And it would fix your problem.

Please SAVE the address_country and then the address_state custom fields so that the new default value is taken into account. Just editing it is not enough.

I am also having a problem where the first state or province displays during guest registration. But, the rest of the states are not shown. The drop down goes down. But, the states are empty.
