Just to let you know.")* That's because the category names handle translation overrides and that there is already a translation for Africa to be displayed as "all of africa". I found the translation in the section: \language\en-GB\en-GB.com_hikashop.ini ;control panel widgets AFRICA="All of Africa" But when i enter Africa, or any other name as a category name, it should be handled like content data and not be subject to translation that is part of the software. I just tried a category name Air and Sea, they get translated to 'By air' and 'By sea' respectively. Problem is what if i want the widget to say "All of Africa" but have a product category called Africa. That is now impossible. Category names should not be subject to translation At least not the same translation as the software. Just to let you know.")* Actually on my local version with 2.5 the names do not get translated on the front end, the menu just says Air and Sea and Africa, as i would expect. I just added a line: MYOVERRIDE_AFRICA="Africa" and entered the category name as such. Still.... a bit weird to have to do this. The language file should have prefixed names which seems to be the convention like COM_HIKA_AFRICA Anyhow... no big deal now that i know about it.
