You need to change the line: $key = $dbObject->get('_tbl_key'); to: if(!method_exists($dbObject,'get')){ return null; }else{ $key = $dbObject->get('_tbl_key'); } in the file /libraries/joomfish/translatable/translationobject.php and that will fix the problem.
