Membership management ant the Hikaserial

Is Hika serial suitable for membership management? What I mean is that I want to make the content of the website available for subscription for a certain period of time.

The "group subscriber" in HikaSerial Subscription is there to add and remove users into Joomla user groups depending on their subscription state (added ad subscription activation and removed when the subscription expires).
The usage of the Joomla ACL is the best way to restrict part of your website.
