However as we have discovered the real world is not so. We are testing uploading 16000 products from a supplier. The product code given is often repeated for the same type of product i.e. all chrome vanadium ring spanners of different sizes have the same product code. The import and other parts of HikaShop are optimized using that unique key. Option 2 would indeed be the easiest.
