Once you purchase the commercial edition, you will get an email with a link to the download page where you will be able to download the install package. You will be able to install it on top of your current version and it will keep all your settings and data. I recommend that you do a backup before upgrading just in case something goes wrong during the install. What you can see is that, you can pay with a paypal account (the first "option") and you can pay directly with a credit cart (the second "option" which is selected). This second option does not ask you to create a paypal account but it propose you to make one if you want. But you can just pay and not create a paypal account.
