Soe make sure that you also changed the option in the configuration. For the payment plugins, it's because you didn't configure them properly. I also checked currencies and checked that the conversion was correct but they were published and not displayed. They still displayed. However, after forcing a refresh a few times it went back to how I wanted it, strange. As for the shipping issue, that appears to have resolved itself. Thanks for all your help...
