Do you receive the order emails ? Did you change something in the emails of HikaShop or in the configuration of HikaShop ? Any ideas as this is pretty urgent??")* I resorted to changing Joomlas email settings to use SMTP instead of PHP mail, and that has fixed it for now, though at least 4 registrations where lost in the void. It's a bit worrying not being able to rely 100% on the system working without a hitch. FWIW I did not change a single setting before this error happened!! Maybe you reached some kind of limit they had in place with phpmail (most of them have limits and they are lower than with SMTP). It could also be that they change something on their end. You might want to contact them and ask them why the emails are not sending anymore with phpmail. If it was, changing the config of joomla to use SMTP wouldn't have solved the problem.
