I was wondering about the affiliate links. For an affiliate purchase to take effect, must the link go directly to the product page or can it go to any page on a site as long as the customer makes a purchase from the link?
It can go to any page of your website. The only requirement is that the partner_id parameter is present in the URL.
The parnter will be stored as a cookie in the browser of the user so that even if he doesn't buy immediately, the partner will get the commission (you can set an expiration delay in the configuration).
